Bauza Hotel
Author: Anothertravelguide.com0 COMMENTS
This is the very first designer hotel in Madrid (opened in 1999), a tribute to María Bauzá, the hostess of a Madrid literary salon once favoured by writers, artists and all sorts of creative types. A respectable library, lounge with a fireplace, black-and-white photographs. The room design is dominated by Zen aesthetics: blond wood, metal, light-coloured walls. The hotel is a shortish walk from the Prado Museum.
