Hotel Notre Dame

Hotel Le Notre Dame is the third hotel in Paris with its entire décor being created by the French fashion designer Christian Lacroix. The first one, Hotel Petit Moulin, situated in the Marais area in an old bakery, is among special gems of Paris. The other one, Hôtel Bellechasse, is located on the Left Bank, a short way off the Musée d'Orsay, art galleries, antiquity shops and Saint-Germain Boulevard. Hotel Le Notre Dame is set in a unique spot as well - in a historic, more that 400-years-old building of the Latin Quarter, on the very bank of the River Seine and a short way off the legendary Cathedral Notre-Dame. Lacroix has always considered that a hotel has to embody the spirit and the taste of the place where it's located, and therefore staying there should be like a travel within a travel. He has definitely followed his creed - the hotel exudes a singular feel of the Latin Quarter with its second-hand bookshops, small cafés, lavish façades and Sorbonne University, student riots of 1968 and majestic gothic spires of the Notre Dame. Hotel Le Notre Dame presents a true adventure of colors, textures, citations and signs of the century. It's like a unique fabric, interwoven with luxury and spiritualism, hedonism and asceticism, satin and leather, the Middle Ages and modern days. And it's all done in the way that only Lacroix can do it!
