White 1921
Hotel White 1921, recently opened in the legendary seaside town of St Tropez, is the very first hotel of the world leader in luxury, Louis Vuitton - Moët Hennessy, also known as the LVHM group. As the name suggests, the hotel with its only eight guest rooms is a hymn to impeccable whiteness.
Entirely white is its bar, too, designed by a French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and concealed in a Mediterranean garden. The hotel's wine list is a dream-come-true for any devoted wine connoisseur - Krug, Dom Perignon, Ruinart, Veuve Clicquot - all of them available by glass. The exclusive selection of wines is topped by a rare vintage of Moët & Chandon from 1921, to celebrate some special occasion. It has been an exceptional year for European white wines, especially from Champagne province, the year being lauded in the name of the hotel as well. Appetizer menu, too, is entirely white there, for example, white truffle popcorn, matching perfectly with Krug champagne. Likewise in fashion, LVMH first hotel has a seasonal character, too - it's going to be opened only until October 7. Like a feathery dream, lasting for just one summer, to preserve its whiteness from mundane grayness of day-to-day existence...
