Do You Read Me?
"Do You Read Me?" - it is difficult to imagine a more suitable and colorful name for a shop selling nothing but magazines. Launched just in autumn 2008 and sited on Augustrasse, which houses most of the city's art galleries, "Do you read me?" features an amazing variety of magazines devoted to art, architecture, fashion, photography, music, design, literature, theatre, social issues and politics. Monocle, Foam, Interview, Frame, Another Magazine and many more, including Vogue. Do not look, however, for mainstream women's magazines there. Its laconic décor, designed by Greige/Buero, features modest black shelves and a wooden bench in the centre - to sit down and browse an issue that has caught your interest. The concept is very simple - it's a good spot for anyone who appreciates original, high-quality magazines, attractive both design- and content-wise.
