MOCAK: Museum of Contemporary Art

For the first time in the history of the country, a purpose-built museum for displaying contemporary art has been built in Krakow, Poland.
It's important to mention that it's located in a former industrial area of the city on the site of the historic Oskar Schindler's factory
The museum is designed by Italian architects Claudio Nardi and Leonardo Maria Proli. The museum will launch its active exhibition program in mid-May 2011 with its first show History in Art for which 44 internationally well-known artists are invited to display their works. Additionally, the show will include 20 artworks from the museum's permanent collection.
